The New Balance 550 “Wheat” is a colorway of the vintage basketball shoe with a workwear boot-inspired design. The popular “Wheat” colorway theme has appeared on many classic sneakers over the years, and now on the New Balance 550 to great success. The shoe features dark tan suede on almost every panel, save for the golden “N” branding on the sides, the “550” detail on the lateral forefoot, and the leather overlay on the collar. The inner lining has been designed in dark mocha. The brown hue also appears on the “NB” branding on the tongue tag. A gum rubber sole that matches the hue of the upper completes the look.
