The Levi’s x New Balance 990 v3 “Elephant Skin” is a September 2021 collaboration between the classic denim brand and New Balance on the third variation of the premium lifestyle shoe. The 990 v3, which debuted back in 2012, plays host to multiple colorways imagined by Levi’s and New Balance for Fall 2021. On the “Elephant Skin,” a medley of materials, including Levi’s signature denim fabric on the base and tonal leather and suede on the overlays on the upper, gives the shoe a premium look. A reflective grey “N” logo appears on either side. Silver “990” branding is found on the heel and “New Balance USA” detailing graces the tongue. The sockliner features “Levi’s for Feet” insignia.
